  [S16] Obituary. September 7, 1949 - March 27, 2013 Gary Worley, 63, of Dunlap, formerly of Soddy-Daisy, passed away at his home on Wednesday, March 27, 2013, with his family at his side. He was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, and he was a US Army veteran. He was retired from Norton Chemical Company, and he was a member of the Soddy Daisy Fire Department. He was preceded in death by his parents, Brince and Mary Worley; nephews, Dale Ferguson, Bobby Tumblin; and granddaughter, Abigail Worley. Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Freda Worley; son, Shane(April) Worley; granddaughters, Grace and Madison Worley all of Dunlap; brothers, Marvin (Marge) Worley, Ralph (Louise) Worley, Ronnie (Judy) Worley; sister, Nelda Elkins of Hixson; brother, Wendell (Barbara) Worley of Dayton; sister, Sue Waters of Soddy-Daisy; brother, Bobby (Jennifer) Gann of Texas; special friends, Steve Bowman and Jerry Leming. Funeral services will be Saturday, March 30, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Chris Long and Rev. Mark Harwood officiating. Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens with military honors. Visitation is Friday from 12:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
