  [S16] Obituary. April 18, 1934 - June 12, 2014 Lois Vandergriff Lewis, 80, of Hixson, TN, passed away Thursday, June 12, 2014. She was a member of the Friendship Baptist Church. Lois was preceded in death by her parents, Claude and Nina Vandergriff; her husband, Bobby Lewis; her brothers, Bill, Jack and David Vandergriff and sisters, Audrey Payne and Margie Shipley. She is survived by her sons, Claude Dennis (Gingi) Harvey of Soddy-Daisy, Edward Harvey of Hixson and Steven Spencer of Hixson; her step-children, Eddie Lewis and Samantha Higgins both of Soddy-Daisy; her brother, Joe Vandergriff of Hixson; nine grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday, June 14, 2014, graveside, in Friendship Cemetery with Reverend Michael Combs and Reverend Curtis Henderson officiating.
