February 4, 1927 - June 2, 2011
Imogene Amberson Lacy, 84, longtime resident of Falling Water, TN and has resided in East Brainerd for the past twenty years, passed away, Thursday, June 2, 2011. She was of the Christian Faith.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Bill Amberson & Walter Lacy and her parents, James L. & Bessie Armstrong.
She is survived by her daughter, Gail Amberson Rankin; sons, Randy (Elaine) Amberson, Jimmy (Gwen) Amberson, Sammy (Donetta) Amberson; grandchildren, Keith (Aleta) Rankin, Julie Rankin, Daniel (Mandy) Rankin, Jeremy Amberson, Jamie Amberson, Robby Groves, Wendy Amberson, Morgan Amberson, Mary Ana Galindez; great-grandchildren, Caleb, Hartley, Stella, Hunter, Kaylee and several nieces & nephews.
The funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, June 6, 2011, at the Middle Valley Baptist Church with Rev. Mark Smith officiating. Ms. Lacy will lie in state at the Church from 12:00 TO 2:00 Monday. Burial will follow in Chattanooga Memorial Park. Visitation with the family will be 2:00 TO 8:00 Sunday at Williamson & Sons Funeral Home.

The family would like to offer a special thanks to Dr. Terry Melvin, Fran, Lori, Jackie, Donna & Gi Gi for allowing us to take care of our mother at home.
