September 24, 1912 - June 2, 2008
Lorene Davidson Flippo, 95, of Soddy-Daisy passed away Monday, June 2, 2008 at a local hospital. She was a member of Dividing Ridge Church of God and was a 30 year employee of Nation Hosiery Mill. She was preceded in death by her husband; Andy Flippo, sister; Mildred Jones, brother; Lee Davidson.
She is survived by her son; Bill Flippo of Hixson, daughter; Betty Ford, 5 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Friday in the funeral home chapel with Bishop Mitch McClure officiating. Interment will follow the service at Dividing Ridge Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 4-8 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home. Condolences and memories may be shared at www.williamsonandsons.com.
