    Penney - Rhonda Gay, infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James B. Penney,passed away at the home of her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. James V.Hoback, of Daisy, Tennessee, Friday. Survivors include her parents; hermaternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. James V. Hoback; her paternalgrandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Albert G. Penney; maternal great-grandparents,Mr. and Mrs. Henry Gravitt, all of Daisy. Funeral services will be heldat 2 p.m. Sunday at the James V. Hoback residence, the Reverend B. E.Brooks officiating. Burial will be in Hamilton Memorial Cemetery.Sawyers, Dayton, in charge of arrangements.

    Christopher Columbus Penney, 83, died Friday morning at his home onthe Morrison Springs Road, following a lingering illness. He is survivedby his wife; seven sons, J.T., M.P., W.F., J.S., and A.G. Penney ofWilmington, North Carolina, and L.C. Penney, of Hawaii; two brothers,J.J. and J.P. Penney of Chattanooga; one sister, Margaret Pierce ofBirmingham.
